At its meeting today, the Supervisory Board of AUDI AG appointed Rupert Stadler, Board Member for Finance and Organisation, as the company's acting Chairman of the Board of Management with effect from 1 January 2007. Stadler will retain responsibility for his previous portfolio on top of his new role.
At the same time Prof. Dr. Martin Winterkorn, who is taking over as Chairman of the Board of Management of VOLKSWAGEN AG on 1 January 2007, will be switching to the company's Supervisory Board and has been elected as the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board of AUDI AG by its members.
Ingolstadt, 23 December 2004: AUDI AG, Ingolstadt has concluded a contract for the sale of all the shares it holds in its subsidiary COSWORTH TECHNOLOGY LIMITED to MAHLE GmbH, Stuttgart.
