Audi proudly presented its latest flagship series, the S8 and A8L, in Hong Kong at the Aberdeen Marina Club on 11 April, 2008. An Audi AG representative had specially flew to Hong Kong for the occasion together with other distinguished socialites in town.
A8L/S8 – The Audi masterpiece series is well known for its progressiveness and sportiness in the luxury car segment, the evening was also in celebration of Audi being appointed as the premium automobile for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and the Equestrian Events in Hong Kong.
After the press launch in the afternoon, a gala dinner started with a cocktail which staged a spectacular performance by the Synchronised Swimming Youth Team from Hong Kong Amateur Swimming Association Ltd (HKASA), followed by musical performances by one of Hong Kong most outstanding violinists, Ms. Jue Yao and international renowned German cabaret singer, Ms. Eva Meier.
In celebration of the premiere to Audi's flagship model A8L/S8, many socialites gathered together to have an exclusive preview, including:

Mr. Chong Got, Managing Director of Premium Motors Ltd., the sole Audi dealer in Hong Kong gave a welcoming speech, "This is a very special year for both Audi and all Chinese as it is the first time the Olympic Games will be hosted by China and Hong Kong has been granted the honour of being a co-host with the Equestrian Events and Audi is honoured to be appointed as the official premium automobile of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and Equestrian Events in Hong Kong."
Adding to the evening's excitement, a lucky draw was held, the winner not only could enjoy the Audi Driving Experience in Zhuhai International Circuit in May, the grand prize was a free weekend stay for a couple at the famous Li Jiang Banyan Tree Resort (A8 chauffered and all expenses included).
