TDI® clean diesel
With TDITDISynonymous with muscular torque delivery and outstanding efficiency: TDI. Today, TDI engines are sporty, smooth and economical.TDI ® clean diesel, the conventional catalytic converter and diesel particulate filter are supplemented by a nitrogen oxide catalytic converter with AdBlue®. Thanks to this biodegradable additive, nitrogen emissions are cut by as much as 90 percent.
LED technology
The LEDs used in daytime running lights, side turn indicators and rear lights are made to last the lifetime of the vehicle. Not only that, but the saving in power consumption that they offer is as much as half compared with conventional bulbs.
Energy recovery
The energy recovery system converts kinetic energy into electrical energy during phases when the car is coasting or braking. When the car accelerates again, the battery directs the temporarily stored energy back into the vehicle, to relieve the load on the alternator and thereby save fuel.
