In the driver's seat, ready, steady, go: The V6 TFSI high-performance engine with 260 kW (354 HP) mobilises a maximum torque of 500 Nm and sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds. The top speed is 250 km/h. The distinctive sound of the S-specific exhaust system with double-flow twin-tailpipe optics underlines the performance of the engine. Different technologies support the sporty handling and support the efficiency of the engine.
The forces of the 3.0 TFSI engine are brought to the road by means of the fast and comfortable eight-speed tiptronic. This means the lower gears are sportively short, and the upper are long for speed and lower fuel consumption. Audi drive select supports a more efficient driving style: When enabled, the drive between 55 and 160 km/h automatically switches to freewheel when the driver takes his foot off the accelerator.
The quattro permanent all-wheel drive, which distributes the engine forces slightly in rear-wheel drive during normal driving operation, supports the sporty driving system. If necessary, most of the power passes to the axle with the better traction. The wheel-selecting torque control is active on all kinds of surfaces. And dynamic cornering is not a problem: The software function brakes the inside wheels, allowing a neutral self-steering response and stable and precise cornering.

Fuel consumption and CO2 emissions figures are obtained under standardised test conditions (Directive 93/116/EEC) using a representative model. This allows direct comparison between different models from different manufacturers, but may not represent the actual fuel consumption achieved in 'real world' driving conditions. *Recommended On-The-Road (OTR) retail prices include: delivery charge, half a tank of fuel, number plates, first registration fee at £55.00 and Vehicle Excise Duty.
Recommended On-The-Road (OTR) retail prices shown are based on the current 2017/18 VED rate.
As outlined in the Chancellor of the Exchequer’s 2015 budget, the way Vehicle Excise Duty (VED) is calculated will change from Saturday 1 April 2017 for the majority of vehicles. The first licence will continue to be calculated using the vehicle’s CO2 value, but subsequent licences will be based on a standard rate of £140. Vehicles with a list price exceeding £40,000 (including factory installed options, delivery charge, number plates and VAT) will pay an additional £310 plus the standard annual rate for a 5 year period. After the 5 year period only the standard rate will apply.
