Audi connect represents the digital connection between driver, vehicle, and infrastructure. It bundles all structures that use online connectivity with the vehicle to provide real-time information and multiple digital functions.
How do I network with my vehicle?
Many of the Audi connect services contain country-specific requirements; please first contact your Audi dealer to find out what you may need to consider in order to use the individual services. To use these services, you must have downloaded and activated the myAudi app on your smartphone. You can create your myAudi account easily via the myAudi App or at https://my.audi.com/. You should also set up your vehicle in your account. Furthermore, your smartphone should be compatible with the built-in MMI and the myAudi app (this is possible for Apple iOS 10.0 and above and Android 6 and above). Most Audi connect services require an active WLAN connection between your smartphone and Audi MMI. Depending on the type of contract (e.g. via a third-party provider), this can incur additional costs for the data flat rate or data packages. Some vehicles require the customer to have his or her own plug-in SIM card with data packages or a data flat rate via a third-party provider. In this case, a SIM card is not integrated in the vehicle. Please check with your Audi partner beforehand if necessary.
